Newly-restored locomotive No 34051 Winston Churchill, has arrived back at the NRM at York, following its two-year cosmetic restoration.

On 30th January 2015, it was moved into the Great Hall accompanied by the restored luggage van S2464 and Pullman car "Lydia", all of which were part of the 1965 funeral train.

The exhibition ran until mid May and marks the culmination of the restoration project. We are very grateful to those who donated to the appeal. A list of donors is shown by using the link to the left.
